Dixiron
Dinotefuran 20% SG is a new furanicotinyl insecticide representing the third generation of neonicotinoids. It works through both contact and ingestion, causing pests to stop feeding within hours of exposure and leading to death shortly thereafter. Diron is a highly systemic insecticide used for controlling brown planthoppers in rice, as well as aphids, jassids, thrips, and whiteflies in cotton crops
Take the measured quantity of insecticide and add to it a small quantity of water. Stir thoroughly using a wooden stick and then add the remaining quantity of water, stir well to form final spray solution.
- Plant Protection Equipment : Knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer, compression knapsack battery sprayer and ASPEE-HTP power sprayer.
- Caution : Do not spray when honeybees are active.
Insecticide will be applied when there is initial attack of BPH, White Fly, Jassids, thrips and Aphids.
- Frequency including maximum number of sprays : Spray 15-21 days interval, not more than two sprays per season. Consecutive sprays with similar mode of action to be avoided.
