Omaxtryn
Omaxtryn is a Wettable Granule formulation containing 80% Ametryn (active ingredient), designed for effective control of grassy and broadleaf weeds in sugarcane crops.
It works by disrupting electron transport in Photosystem II during photosynthesis, leading to the formation of free radicals. These highly reactive oxidants damage cell membranes, ultimately compromising the structural integrity and vitality of targeted weeds.
- ⦿ A new selective early post-emergence herbicide with broad-spectrum efficacy against grasses and broadleaf weeds.
- ⦿ Belonging to the S-triazine chemical group, it disrupts photosynthetic processes and other enzymatic functions. The herbicide is highly volatile and poses minimal risk of leaching into groundwater.
- ⦿ This selective systemic herbicide is absorbed through both leaves and roots, offering efficient translocation activity for effective weed management.
Measure the required quantity of Ametryn 80% WG, mix thoroughly with the appropriate amount of water, and apply using a knapsack sprayer equipped with a flat-fan nozzle. Ensure a spray volume of 500 L/ha. Apply 25 days after planting. Avoid application near aquaculture areas to prevent potential contamination
